Awe-inspiring sights will strike you in the face on Day 1 of your vacation in Lakshadweep. You will be collected upon arrival at Agatti Airport and driven a short distance to your hotel for check-in. You have the entire day to do as you like, but it's unlikely that you'll want to do anything but kick off your shoes and wander across the sand dunes in your bare feet, straight up to Agatti Island's fantastical lagoon. The water level won't rise higher than your knees, not even 500 metres in. Overall, it's better to spend this day soaking in these vibrant, unfamiliar surroundings. Thus, when you spend your first night on Agatti island, kick back and unwind.
After breakfast, the second day of the tour consists of exploring Agatti, your host island, engaging with the locals, and learning about their customs. There is a noticeable Islamic influence in this place's music and dancing. Considering that Kerala is the nearest state on the Indian mainland, there are cultural parallels between it and Kerala. During festivals, the male inhabitants of the Lakshadweep islands engage in a dance called "lava." Parichakali, a type of dance that combines traditional dance and martial arts, is another type of dance that is a part of the island's history. Local corals, shells, and oysters are utilised to produce a variety of jewellery and ornaments, which are the focus of handicraft items in these sections. If they so choose, visitors may buy these goods. An overnight stay right here on Agatti Island completes the day.
Breakfast is served first thing in the morning, and then you board a boat to see the deserted islands of Bangaram and Thinnakara. While travelling there, you'll get to enjoy the sight of dolphins and turtles swimming in their native environments. Nearby Thinnakara Island also has beautiful seascapes to offer, with bioluminescent plankton living there. The trip heads back to Agatti island for the night after having some tea and the evening.
Breakfast is the first meal of the day, and you'll have some free time following to spend exploring Agatti further or simply relaxing. We're heading to Kalpitty Island by boat after lunch, when you've had a filling meal. It takes roughly 45 minutes to go to this other uninhabited island in Lakshadweep. We'll stay on this island for the day until we catch a particularly breathtaking view of the setting sun. We head back to Agatti Island for the night as the sun sets.
Water sports are scheduled for this entire day, if you decide to partake. There are many different activities to choose from, so you're sure to find something you enjoy. Clear, up-close views of the underwater life, including schools of fish, vibrant corals, and the topography that appears to be from another planet, are possible when scuba diving. Snorkelling is a great option if you want to see life beneath the surface of the water but aren't too keen to go too deep. For those who want to venture out onto the broad waters and see if anything will accept the bait, there is deep-sea fishing. In addition, there are a tonne of activities including surfing, kayaking, canoeing, water skiing, yachting, and much more. At the end of the day, you have one last overnight stay on Agatti Island in store.
Following our final meal on Agatti Island, we gather our belongings and proceed with our departure. After that, we head to Agatti Airport to catch our trip back home.
